Reviews: M&s 20 Denier Sheer Gloss Tights 3 Pair Pack & M&S 10 denier matt tights 5 pair pack

For legs that feel fantastic, these sheer tights complete any outfit.

Composition

100% polyamide
Care instructions

Hand wash

Excellent tights, fab price

These tights are a brilliant buy! They are very slightly om the big side, I have small but I hate things that dig in anyway.

They are soft, matte and in the colour illusion, almost as good as the invisible tights at a mere fraction of the price!

Highly recommend! I've had no problems with laddering etc. I'll be reordering definitely.

Disappointed :(

I wear tights everyday for work. I usually buy the more expensive tights from M&S but thought as its the summer and i use them a lot as i am not wearing thicker winter tights i thought i would try these. what a disappointment i have gone through a pair a day and they have either laddered almost instantly or have split at the seams at the top. I understand for the cost i wasn't expecting miracles but i would at least expect to get a full day out of them without having them ruined half way through with ladders and holes.

Perfect!!

Have been buying tights with lycra thinking they should be a better fit, however, can't stop them creasing badly at back of knee so decided to do a Google search for some tights with good reviews and found these. So good I have just ordered 3 more packs!! Lovely and soft, very comfortable, stay up perfectly and no creasing! I am 5'6", size 10 - 12 and the medium is perfect. Really good value for money too.

10 Denier Essential Matt Tights 5 Pair Pack

I always buy these fabulous tights, they are great value for money and look stunning.I have had many compliments about them, as they look so good.I wear them to my ballroom dancing classes, and for everyday wear too. They are flattering, make my legs look slimmer, stay up without falling down and are very comfortable to wear.I am very short, so getting tights which are the right length can be a problem, but these are a perfect fit.I highly recommend them. And get very upset when stocks run out (they are so popular I can't always find them). Please keep selling them, they are a great product.

A Spring essential

These tights are really good value and the colour is perfect for Spring clothes. I don't like shiny tights and these are sheer without being shiny and they make your legs look lightly tanned.

They are the perfect trans-seasonal tights !

M @S 10 Den. Essential Tights

I have used these tights for many years. They have gone up in price considerably since I started using them but are still value for money. I have never found better fitting tight anywhere.

20 Denier Sheer Gloss Tights 3 Pair Pack

These tights are comfortable and reasonably hard wearing, with a nice gloss shine to them. I found them to be true to size. All in all good everyday tights. Good value for money I would recommend them.

good tights for work

I have had these before but they are difficult to get hold of because always seem to be out of stock in the store, they are ideal for work because they are a bit tougher than 15 denier but smart with the gloss.

Sheer gloss tights 20 denier 3 pack

I work in retail and as you can probably imagine we ladder tights a lot. These are much better quality, look and finish I get more wear out of these too over the ladder resistant tights. They are slightly more cost and less quantity but it's worth the differance.I just wish they were in stock in my size more it just shows how popular they are!!

20 Denier Tights

I find these tights very good, when I can get hold of them! Not sure what problems M&S have in getting these tights in Nearly Black. This is approximately the third time I have had to order them on line and even then it has taken quite some time for the colour and size I want to be in stock. To me this should not be so difficult, as surely this is a staple colour? So when they are available I purchase 6 boxes at a time.

I wouldn't consider anything else

These tights are the best tights available. Unlike their competitors, these tights last for months and don't diminish in the washing machine. They are comfortable, flattering, and you don't feel like you might put a fingernail through a leg! Great value and a quality product. I would think of going anywhere else for my work tights. I LOVE THEM!

Still not sure about the colour

I've worn these for years in the summer and I really like them although I'm not sure about the limited range of colours. Natural tan is not quite as bad as American Tan but I would prefer Illusion. Also as they last a bit longer they tend to get washed more, with the result that the tan seems to have disappeared giving a 'laying out' colour, not a good look although I can decorate in them without worrying about spoiling them. Apart from the colour they are fine.

Still best value for money on high street

Been buying natural tan for years. Perfect to wear in spring and autumn. Comfortable and keep their shape.Length is good for taller people (I'm 5ft 9).I haven't found better on the high street for this price.TIP - prolong their life by washing them in a zip up laundry bag so they don't ladder in the spin cycle.

Top 5 Tights for Women in the US

Paired with skirts or worn under slacks, tights are a warm winter-wardrobe staple. But which ones won't roll, pill, snag, sag, stretch, or constrict? We tested 14 opaque-to-waist and 10 control-top pairs, from $5 to $43, to find out. These have a leg up on the rest. Quick tip: Always check size charts on tights' labelling, as sizes aren't uniform.

1. Pretty...Pricey

Wolford Velvet De Luxe($42, 800-965-3673) are a real luxury. Testers couldn't get over their soft feel, comfortable waistband, and opaque leg (though a few complained about snagging). On pilling, strength, and washability, these scored well. In 7 colors.

2. Drugstore Deal

Here's the opaque-to-waist pair to stock up on: L'eggs Profiles Opaque Tights 10418 ($7, CVS, Walmart) got points for their sleek, "dressier" look. Most testers liked the fit, though some cited waist-rolling. They won't pill or shrink, but the material didn't bounce back from stretching that well. In black only.

3. Pleasing Pair

Lands' End Matte Tights ($19.50 for two pairs, 800-800-5800) tiptoed past the others to be named the comfiest of our picks. Women found them easy to slip into and out of, and said they felt great on their legs (though some mentioned that the band rolled). The tights washed beautifully, but did poorly on the stretching test, so they may sag over time. In seven colors.

4. Super Support

If smoothness under clothes is your ultimate goal, try Lands End matte tights ($26, 888-806-7311). Their built-in control from waist to mid-thigh holds everything in--but it does make 'em hard to pull on and take off. Extremely durable, these should keep their shape through many wearings and washes. In 21 colors.

5. Cost Control

Bargain No Nonsense Control Top Tights ($5, 800-575-3497) rated well on lab tests, except for their tendency to stretch, and got the thumbs-up from testers, who described them as comfy and well-fitting with little waist-rolling. Some noticed snagging, so take care when putting them on and pulling them off. In three colors.

Preggers Maternity Pantyhose Review

I received a pair of Preggers Maternity Pantyhose from Spring Maternity Singapore last month and I have been wearing this 10-15mmHg* gradient compression hosiery for quite a while. Preggers Maternity Pantyhose is designed to improve circulation, prevent swelling and energize tired legs and feet during pregnancy.

This product features true gradient compression and is designed for everyday wear by expecting mums.

6 facts about Preggers 10-15mmHG* Gradient Compression Hosiery you may not know:

1) True gradient compression delivers a controlled amount of pressure greatest at the ankle and gradually decreases towards the top of the stocking to promote better blood flow

2) Built-in tummy support panel provides a sense of stability for active mommas and can be worn folded under belly and unfolded to cover belly

3) Super soft material is breathable and provides shaping support

4) Toe is reinforced for durability and rounded for comfortable fit

5) Micro-Cool process creates a wicking effect so moisture evaporates from the skin quickly providing a comfortable coolness

6) Smooth seams that will not dig into tummy or show under clothes

I'm currently in my ninth month of pregnancy, 36 weeks plus. In my last month of pregnancy, my days have becoming crazily hectic. Not only I need to set up a prefect nursery for my little princess who is coming to the world in 2-3 weeks time but I have been running back and forth to the hospital for my son's health reviews & my own doctor appointments.

Running errands in final stage of pregnancy can be really tiring, especially when I was required to sit or stand for long periods of time. Besides, it's pretty normal for me to feel discomforts of swelling or fatigue during pregnancy. I believe that is also part of a pregnancy a woman needs to go through (lucky you if you have never experience any of the discomforts!!) However, after being introduced to Preggers Maternity Pantyhose by Spring Maternity (thank you!!) (I didn't know previously there's such a maternity pantyhose product) I realized I could actually do something about my tired achy legs. Something CAN be done! And I don't have to suffer from tired & achy legs in my final trimester! So, here I am trying the product I didn't know existed previously and hoping it helps to energize my legs :)

My legs are not veiny (that's one good thing!) I can barely see veins running through my legs but at 36 weeks plus pregnant, I can no longer running away from the unfortunate typical pregnancy symptoms such as 1) Tired and achy legs 2) Swollen legs

As you can see from my picture below, my calves are swollen! Absolutely not a pretty sight! I believe my swollen calves are caused by water retention in my late pregnancy. Pretty much I woke up in the morning with swollen legs especially the night before, I had a long walk, swollen calves, ankles and feet became worse.

Not only that (sorry the picture below is a little gross to see!), my feet were so swollen and so my ankles! Can you see the blue veins popping out of my feet?

Thanks to Spring Maternity, I had a chance to try Preggers Maternity Pantyhose to improve my poor circulation, prevent swelling and energize my tired legs and feet during this final stage of pregnancy.

Preggers Maternity Pantyhose is very comfortable to wear on daily basis. The material doesn't make me feel warm, although pregnancy itself has already made me feel so warm, thanks to pregnancy hormones! But having to wear this for the whole day, I don't feel extra warm at all! The material is so airy, breathable and super soft. Therefore, I feel like wearing nothing!

Besides, I also feel more comfortable walking/standing up for a long time. It does help in relieving me from tired legs when I need to walk/stand up for a long time. At the end of the day, I can see the difference between long walk with Preggers Maternity Pantyhose VS long walk without. Long walk without is certainly more tiring and thus, more swelling in the next morning!

Another benefit I like from Preggers Maternity Pantyhose is built-in tummy support. In late pregnancy, especially when my baby's head already down & engaged, most of the time, my belly feels extra heavy! I just feel uncomfortable walking with heavy belly and often I feel Braxton Hicks Contractions (those fake contractions preparing woman body for labor) that come along when I have my long walk. Heavy belly + tightening can be agonizing and intolerable. I have been thinking to buy maternity belt to solve this problem but fortunately, Preggers Maternity Pantyhose was being introduced to me before buying expensive maternity belt that I will no longer be using it after my baby is born!

Preggers Maternity Pantyhose Built-in tummy support is indeed a belly support. I'm impressed with this tummy support! The material is not only comfortable & breathable but the design of this built-in tummy support provides me the sense of stability. It feels like wearing maternity belt to support my heavy belly! In fact it's like all in one product, not only supporting my belly but providing my legs with better blood flow! Unlike other built in tummy support maternity wear, this one doesn't slide down my hips at all. Not even once after so many hours of wearing. It's really that fit & stable!

After wearing Preggers Maternity Pantyhose for a week, I can certainly see visible improvements to my current legs conditions.

1) My legs are less tired now and I can walk longer and farther. I feel good even I have to stand up for half an hour or walk for an hour! Leg cramps & soreness lessen with Preggers!

2) My tired legs and feet are energized. No longer feeling sore legs and feet waking up in the morning. Therefore, I'm no longer needing to worry the impact from the long walk-the day before in the next morning!

3) Swollen calves, ankles and feet are improved! I don't see it that swollen anymore. I believe Preggers Maternity Pantyhose does improve my poor circulation. The compression does promote better blood flow!

Can you see it's less swollen now?

Now I feel more confident wearing short dress. I'm happy to see my normal legs back :) No longer needing to hide my swollen legs/feet/ankles under long maxi dress anymore!! :)

It's so easy to pair Preggers with my pre-pregnancy clothes. I can absolutely pair it with my short pre-pregnancy dresses. I'm a tall girl but pretty slim and I'm lucky enough to be able to fit into almost all my pre-pregnancy dresses except dresses are getting too short due to my growing & expanding belly size and most of the time, I don't have the confidence to wear short dresses. I'm afraid of exposing too much skin in pregnancy, I just feel awkward!

And with Preggers Maternity Pantyhose, I'm no longer afraid of wearing my pre-pregnancy dresses I can fit into. I'm no longer needing to worry if my dresses are too short and inappropriate in comparison with my big belly. Now, I can totally rock my short dresses out and be a fashionable pregnant mum back!

Preggers Maternity Pantyhose is so versatile and I can see myself wearing it with everything from dresses, shorts to skirts.

#OOTD (Outfit of The Day) in Preggers, black color pantyhose with light color floral dress (contrast color) makes my legs extra long and my legs appear slimmer too (how great isn't when every part of my body looks fat except my legs??) Wearing black color pantyhose is another way of showing off mile long legs in a classy way :) Agree??

Thank you for reading my review with Preggers

Wish me a super smooth delivery in 2-3 weeks time!

Pretty Polly Tights - Secret Socks Review

Pretty Polly have been an established hosiery company since 1919 (amazing that they're nearly 100 years old ❤!) They're an iconic British superbrand and the home of House of Holland tights too and were one of the first companies to introduce non-run stockings in 1959!

Pretty Polly Secret Socks

Design and Material

How Pretty Polly describe them;

All in one 20 denier tight with combined modal sock.
Create the layered look with complete comfort
A great British innovation"Over the Knee Sock Tights look like socks layered over tights - but they're actually one piece! Perfect to dress up an old outfit or for that extra comfort with your favourite boots."
The Secret Socks are 51% Viscose, 44% Nylon and 5% Elastane.

True to Pretty Polly's history the tights are innovative (although I'm already aware of stores copying this design now). When placing these tights on the first thing you notice is how warm the knit style fabric feels on your skin and as you would expect the upper tights section feels lovely and smooth too ❤.

Although one thing I am slightly disappointed with is the quality of the knit on the upper tights section; there appears to be a slight banding appearance of the nylon on both of my legs. I still received many compliments from people I met while wearing the Secret Socks tights; so maybe its not that noticeable...and possible that I just managed to pick a faulty pair?

Again I know I always say this, but....I would still recommend wearing gloves when applying to protect them. It is the most heartbreaking moment when you accidentally snag your tights, which could of easily been avoided by wearing these specially designed gloves.

Sizing

I'm 5ft 4, weigh 45kg (UK 6) and have 30" hip.

So judging by everything but my height, I chose a size small and it was definitely the right decision; the tights stayed perfectly fitted all night ❤!

Colour and Price

Pretty Polly's Secret Tights are available in one colour only, but there are actually different styles available; over the knee style (style I chose), knee high sock style and a patterned sock tights style. The recommended retail price is £10.00...although I found them for the bargain price of £5.00 in John Lewis and just couldn't resist ❤.

How to wear Pretty Polly Secret Socks Over the Knee Tights?

Although I chose to wear something casual with these tights, they're very versatile and could easily of been worn with a dress and a pair of heels! ❤

Verdict

For years (mainly in the summer) I will put on a pair of my Givenchy sheer tights/Pretty Polly Naturals with a pair of knee high socks over the top as I love the edginess this look brings ❤. So for tights to automatically have this facility in is a massive convenience, and saves the paranoia of putting a pull in your tights; while attempting to perfectly align the height of your socks!

As I mentioned earlier; my only slight disappointment is with the quality of knit on the actual upper thigh section...although this is something other people may not notice?

However, taking everything into consideration; price and design; I would still recommend these tights but personally I would say only if you can find them at a reduced cost ❤

Feeling ribbed Wolford tights review

I've definitely been in need of some new tights, so when the lovely Kerri from Wolford contacted me to try out a pair of their luxurious tights I was more than delighted to give them a go! I chosen the Fine Cotton Rib Tights in 'Black'. I have really been enjoying all things ribbed at the moment, particularly t-shirts and so I decided to change things up a little on the tights front and choose something a little different from what I would usually opt for.

Outfit details:
Top - Topshop
Skirt - Goldie London (Topshop Boutique - Old)
Tights - Wolford*
Shoes - Topshop
Necklace - Topshop
Lipstick - New York Apple by MAC

Sizing I can honestly say I have NEVER, EVER found tights that fit as well as these do. When I wear tights I usually always have a really awkward sizing problem. They either are too 'waggy' and the inner leg area falls down (Cute, I know!) or if I purchase a larger size they fit too high on my waist. It's usually a nightmare, so I am super impressed with the sizing of these. These are also super comfy too, I honestly felt like I was wearing leggings! I also walk 'knock-kneed' as well aka my knees brush against each other whilst I'm walking and these do not itch my legs in the slightest which deserves extra brownie points from me! As a side reference I ordered mine in a size medium and I usually wear a standard size 10 on the high street.

Design
Initially I really loved the added touch of the waistband having the company name 'Wolford' engraved into the band, the band also has a scallop trim detail which is super pretty. The actual main feature design of the tights is very subtle, as it is naturally imprinted into the material like a stripe rather than a 3D rib which is good for someone who is only used to wearing boring old plain tights haha! The design also isn't too subtle where you can't see it, it's the perfect inbetween tone. These tights are also super versatile and can be worn with pretty much anything. Stripes are very on trend right now, especially ribbing so I felt super stylish in these haha!

Price/Range
'Wolford' are a tights and hosiery company based in the beautiful city of Milan. They sell everything from invisible tight socks all the way through to body suits. They even sell the classic piece needed in every woman's wardrobe, of course I am talking about the little black dress. Their prices range from £8 upwards if you are in the UK. $10 if you are in Ireland and $15if you are in the US. The quality of these tights are 100% worth their value! They are super soft, super comfy and beautifully fitted. They do not feel tight around the waist area either, usually with tights I am left with an imprint on my skin after wearing them the whole day but with these there was nothing. It's true what you say, you definitely pay more for quality! And I can assure you these are the highest quality tights I have ever worn.

The only negative thing I have to say about these is they do slightly gather lint but that may just be because they were new as black items usually do tend to do that. Buying black jeans can be a nightmare for lint sometimes! Since washing them however, the lint has come off so I can't complain!

Overall rating? 10/10! The delivery was super quick and convenient, perfect sizing, perfect comfort, perfect design and perfect material. Smiles all round!! The team were also super helpful, if you have any queries regarding sizing they were more than happy to help. They stated to carry sizes 1 to 10, I initially thought this was shoe size but they explained to me they stock sizes from Small to Large, I requested a medium and they did it all for me. A lovely, helpful and easy service.

I hope you enjoyed this post lovelies and the way that I chosen to style these. Simple but effective was my aim and I have really been loving the monochrome look at the moment. A special thank you to Wolford* for contacting me and supplying me with these beautiful tights, I shall definitely be making a purchase of my own sometime in the future! Until next time beauts!
